The Pro family from the Galaxy Book 3 series is equipped with Intel Core “Raptor Lake” P chips, so it also uses the latest generation. In this case, however, in the form of the 28-watt variants, which come with four performance and eight efficiency cores and clock rates of up to 5.0 gigahertz (maximum turbo clock).
Chic danger: Samsung’s Galaxy Book 3 Pro series is always in light aluminum housings
The Galaxy Book 3 Pro is jewels to be had with 14 or 16 inch screens that behave very impressively in OLED panels with enormous 2880 x 1800 pixels resolution in 16:10 format, reaching up to 400 brightness candelariat and a maximum wild deer of 120 hertz for the most fluid display possible.
The Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 is basically a 2-in-1 variant of the 16-inch model with a foldable display and touchscreen including S Pen support. Aside from the stylus and touchscreen, the device is essentially identical, although it weighs a few hundred grams more due to the flip-up display construction.
In addition to the new Intel chips, eight or 16 gigabytes of LPDDR5-based RAM and a 512 gigabyte or even one terabyte PCIe 4.0 SSD are always installed. Other features include WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, a full HD webcam, four AKG-tuned speakers and Dolby Atmos support.
Not even with the ports, apart from Samsung, because two Thunderbolt 4-capable USB-C ports, one HDMI and one full-size USB-A port, a MicroSD card reader and a 3.5mm jack plug are installed. Given the policy of other manufacturers ditching more and more ports from their laptops, this is probably to be welcomed.
Most likely Galaxy Book 3 Pro…
…there is a good port selection
The batteries are also impressive despite the constantly increasing weight of the devices. The 14-inch model of the Galaxy Book 3 Pro weighs 1.17 kilograms and still has a 63-watt-hour battery in its aluminum housing, while the 16-inch models even have a 76-Wh battery is. Samsung therefore promises runtimes of up to 16 or 18 hours, even if the lamp was only allowed to be reached in the rarest of cases. All models come with a 65-watt power adapter with a USB-C port.
Unfortunately, the new Samsung Ultrabooks of the Galaxy Book 3 Pro series can also be paid for princely: you have to shell out at least 1749 euros for the 14-inch model, while the two larger versions should cost at least 1949 euros. If you want more memory, the prices rise rapidly, although it should be borne in mind that the main memory is likely to be soldered here.
